I won the auction, how do I claim my physical Blitwear garment?

Congrats! And thank you so much for participating in the auction! Given that Blitwear is Core3D’s first experiment with NFT x IRL products, we focused purely on the product development so the claiming mechanism will be a manual process. Here are the steps you need to follow.

After winning the NFT, please reach out to Gwan Yip either on Discord at gwanstefani#1026 or on Twitter at @_Core3D. We will ask you to update your OpenSea profile that holds the Blitwear NFT with either your Twitter name (if it is not already there) or your Discord profile name (including the four trailing digits) that you message us with.

Once confirmed, you will be prompted to send the NFT to our wallet so that we may update the meta data and title to say “CLAIMED” to denote that this NFT has been redeemed for a physical item. We will ask you to send the item to the following Core3D wallet address: 0x42e012e54e4287d85358825899ea44acb8a50865. This wallet address can be confirmed as the official address by visiting: https://opensea.io/Core3D.

We will return to you a “Claimed” version of the NFT to have in your wallet that will have a different background from the original NFT, text on the image and updates to the title and metadata to indicate that the garment been redeemed. This should help provide clarity to the secondary market as to what NFTs have been claimed for the physical items.

You will also inform us about the size you want the garment and your physical, snail mail address for us to ship the piece. We ship USPS mail in the United States as well as internationally—you may choose an alternative shipping method (such as FedEx or UPSyou’re your cost. NOTE: residents outside of the United States will be responsible for any VAT and typically international shipping requires a first and last name along with a phone number.

How long do I have to claim the physical Blitwear garment?

Individuals will have until May 31, 2022 to contact us to claim the physical garment to their size specification. If we have not received a response by that time, we will create the piece in a default “Medium” size. For a reasonable amount of time, we will keep this garment on hand for any future person who claims the item, however, we make no guarantees in holding this item in perpetuity.

I want to purchase a Blitwear NFT on the secondary—how can I claim the physical piece?

First, ensure that the title and metadata do not indicate “CLAIMED”—an NFT can be claimed for a physical garment only once.

Second, ensure that the date is before May 31, 2022. As previously stated, that is the deadline to request a specific size for the item.

Finally, if it is after May 31, 2022 and the item does not state that it has been claimed, we will produce the garment in a “Medium” size. If you are interested in obtaining that physical piece, after the end of May, PLEASE REACH OUT TO US either on Twitter at @_Core3D or by email at support@core3d.io to see if we still have the physical piece in our possession. While we will not retain these unclaimed garments in perpetuity, we do plan in keeping them for a limited time after the claim window.
